Heart! This was the first word that came to mind when reading the diocesan profile. I kept saying to myself, “this diocese has heart!” We know that the heart and mind are interconnected in their scripture meaning. It’s clear in the articulation of your mission and ministry that East Carolina has an unwavering foundation of heart and mind for Jesus! This is exciting!

¡Corazón! Esta fue la primera palabra que me vino a la mente cuando leí el perfil diocesano. “¡Esta diócesis tiene corazón!”, repetí una y otra vez. Sabemos que el corazón y la mente están interconectados en su significado bíblico. Queda claro en el enunciado de su misión y ministerio que Carolina del Este tiene un fundamento inquebrantable de corazón y mente por Jesús. ¡Esto me entusiasma!
