Westminster Abbey is one of the most familiar and highly recognized houses of Christian worship in the world. For Episcopalians, it carries a particularly important place in our history and identity as members of the Anglican Communion. The Abbey also holds fascination for its grandeur and designation as a royal peculiar – for centuries (and recently) the place of coronations, weddings and state funerals. The St. James Speaker Series is pleased to announce a very special evening presentation about Westminster Abbey, its worship life and history by the Abbey’s Canon Theologian, The Rev.
