Please join us for our semi-annual service at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church on Saturday, October 3 at 10:00 a.m. If you haven’t visited before, St. Barnabas is located at 1 St. Barnabas St., Snow Hill, NC.

The Rev. Tom Warren, Rector of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Kinston, will officiate and preach. We’ll worship using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, cherished for its beautiful, traditional language.

St. Barnabas, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been part of Snow Hill’s history since its cornerstone was set in 1884. The church began as a mission of the Diocese of East Carolina, and the Rt. Rev. Alfred Augustine Watson, DD, consecrated the building in 1893.

The ongoing care of St. Barnabas is supported through offerings collected near St. Barnabas Day (June 11) and again in the fall. Contributions may be made by check, payable to St. Barnabas, and mailed to the address at the end of this note.

After the service, please stay for fellowship with refreshments, drinks, and sweets. And do remember to dress for the weather—our historic building enjoys only “natural air conditioning and heating.”

We look forward to welcoming you, worshiping together, and sharing time in community.
