Lifelong Christian Formation
From cradle to grave, learning, growing and living as a Christian in the world does not end. Lifelong Christian Formation in the Diocese of East Carolina seeks to equip the saints for ministry by curating resources, providing support, and fostering connection.
Lifelong Christian Formation in the Diocese of East Carolina does this by providing congregational support and professional consultation as requested. It does this for individuals through formation events, classes, and workshops that are meant to supplement what is offered by congregations.
Through collaboration between parishes, ministry leaders, and others the Diocese of East Carolina makes, equips and sends disciples out into the world to serve God and their neighbors.

Almighty God, by the hand of Moses your servant you led your people out of slavery, and made them free at last: Grant that your church, following the example of your prophet Martin Luther King, may resist oppression in the name of your love, and may strive to secure for all your children the blessed liberty of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. (Collect for the Feast Day of Martin Luther King, Jr.) -*Art created by Pinot’s Pallette South Hill
The Upper Cape Fear Deanery Youth Gathering was hosted at Holy Trinity, Fayetteville. The ECYC led games, music, and icebreakers. The group then learned about Off-road Outreach from Stacey Buckner, the Executive Director. She shared with us the many ways they serve military veterans who are homeless by “Meet ing people where they are and loving them back to life.” Then the group packed bags that the organization will distribute this week to homeless veterans who need them. Our next Deanery Youth Gathering will be in February in Lower Cape Fear. @offroadoutreach @eastcarolina.episcopaldiocese
