New Vestry and Wardens Gathering in Goldsboro
The very first “New Wardens and New Vestry Members Gathering” was held at St. Paul’s, Edenton on February 1.15 folks participated, representing 5 churches from the Albemarle and Pamlico Deaneries.
During our time together we discussed the roles and responsibilities of wardens and vestries, shared practices and ideas, made new connections within the diocese, and examined the myriad ways God makes his presence known to us through vestry leadership and service.
Though geared toward new wardens and vestry members, returning wardens and vestry members are welcome to join us for any of the remaining three locations: St. Stephen’s, Goldsboro on February 8; a virtual session on February 10; and a session at St. James Parish, Wilmington on February 22. A total of 70 people have registered thus far, but there is still room for more.
To register, please complete the registration form, and if you have any questions, contact Canon Stephanie Allen.
