All Souls’ Day: Commemoration of the Faithful Departed
What is All Souls’ Day, on The Episcopal Church’s (as well as other denominations) it is the day following All Saints. In fact, the Episcopal Church does observe All Hallow’s Eve (10/31), All Saints Day (11/1) and All Souls’ Day: Commemoration of the Faithful Departed (11/2) but often in effort to engage with congregations when they are present, these three distinct days are merged into one celebration.
All Souls’s encourages us to remember those they have loved but no longer see. Though the resources are from COVID times, these cards from The Church of England are beautiful and are adaptable for your context.
