Lifelong Christian Formation
From cradle to grave, learning, growing and living as a Christian in the world does not end. Lifelong Christian Formation in the Diocese of East Carolina seeks to equip the saints for ministry by curating resources, providing support, and fostering connection.
Lifelong Christian Formation in the Diocese of East Carolina does this by providing congregational support and professional consultation as requested. It does this for individuals through formation events, classes, and workshops that are meant to supplement what is offered by congregations.
Through collaboration between parishes, ministry leaders, and others the Diocese of East Carolina makes, equips and sends disciples out into the world to serve God and their neighbors.

This morning at the Province IV gathering our young people had the privilege of experiencing “Breach of Peace” a one person play by Mike Wiley. Jude was called up for a brief moment improv. “Breach of Peace” tells the stories of Freedom Riders from the summer of 1961… and how young people, working together can advocate and strive for justice in their communities. @mikewileyproductions

The Trinity Deanery Youth Gathering just wrapped up! Many thanks to Christ Church, New Bern for hosting. The ECYC led the event with nearly 40 youth and adults from St. Mary’s - Kinston, St. Paul’s - Beaufort, St. Peter’s by the Sea - Swansboro, St. Stephen’s - Goldsboro, and Christ Church. The group heard from the Practice Manager at Merci Clinic about all the free medical and dental services they have been providing to Craven County and beyond for almost 30 years. Then the group made Welcome Bags for the clinic. We talked about Saints including naming people in our lives we think are Saints. The next gathering is in Upper Cape Fear in January! Join us!
Join us on November 2nd as we make Blessing Bags for Merci Clinic! Registration is by parish and is in stories!
