Lifelong Christian Formation
From cradle to grave, learning, growing and living as a Christian in the world does not end. Lifelong Christian Formation in the Diocese of East Carolina seeks to equip the saints for ministry by curating resources, providing support, and fostering connection.
Lifelong Christian Formation in the Diocese of East Carolina does this by providing congregational support and professional consultation as requested. It does this for individuals through formation events, classes, and workshops that are meant to supplement what is offered by congregations.
Through collaboration between parishes, ministry leaders, and others the Diocese of East Carolina makes, equips and sends disciples out into the world to serve God and their neighbors.

It’s always a great day when you get to be at Trinity Center! Fall Conference for Middle Schoolers is unplugging and reconnecting this weekend focusing on Ecclesiastes 4:9-12! Excited about the new upfront leadership model for this conference and a great team of high schoolers (not all are pictured in the last photo)!
Yesterday the ECYC led their first Deanery Youth Gathering, hosted at St. Paul’s, Edenton for the Albemarle Deanery. It was a beautiful afternoon. The group gathered observed the Feast of St. Francis through fellowship, learning, service, and worship. The Executive Director of the Tri-County Animal Shelter came and spoke with the group about how to be good stewards of our own animals and also those in our community. Then the group made security blankets that will be donated for dogs that are in the shelter and will travel with them when they find their “fur”ever home. The gathering wrapped up by joining with the Blessing of the Animals service! Many thanks to St. Paul’s Youth Minister, Gary Stanley and Rector, Melody Perdue for opening up St. Paul’s and their on the ground coordination!
The next Gathering is Nov. 2nd and will be for the Trinity Deanery at Christ Church, New Bern! Registration is open!
Registration Deadline for Participants is October 3rd!
