All in the diocese are invited to meet the candidates at a series of regional meet-and-greets around the diocese. Details about livestreams and recordings of these meet and greets are forthcoming. These meet and greets will include a question-and-answer element. We are currently receiving questions for our candidates. Please email questions to the Bishop Transition Committee. Questions should be submitted by October 10th.

All members of the diocese are welcome and encouraged to attend one of our in-person or online meetings that we are providing to help you learn more about what to expect for our Annual Convention and Bishop Election. Anyone can attend whichever meeting works for you!

October Formation Leader Gathering | October 14 & 15, 2025 over Zoom

Do you coordinate or lead Christian Formation for children, youth, young adults or adults in your parish or context? We would love to have you join us. This group gathers quarterly via zoom. The group sometimes has an outside speaker and sometimes we mine the knowledge and expertise of our group together.

Registration will remain open until noon on Monday, October 13th.

Mental Health Awareness &
Trauma Informed Ministry with
Children & Young People | November 22, 2025 at Diocesan House

As our children and young people experience an ever-changing and challenging world, we are all too aware of the toll it takes on their mental health and well-being. This workshop, led by Susan Peek, LCSW, will offer clergy and lay leaders an introduction to trauma informed ministry as well as resources, best practices, and ways to care for the mental well-being of the children and young people in our parishes.

Join with Christian Formation Leaders from the Lower Cape Fear Deanery for dinner on Monday, November 3rd at 6:30 PM. We will be hosted by St. Andrew’s on the Sound.
