Folk singer Scott Sean White will be in Wilmington for 1 night, at Church of the Servant, Episcopal, Saturday evening, October 18, 7:00 – 8:45. Scott’s heartland rock musical style is reminiscent of Tom Petty, with influence by The Byrds and the Rolling Stones, a combination of soft, poignant country folk, Gospel, and blues.

Church of the Servant is a very special venue with comfortable, intimate seating in the round; the perfect space for enjoying Scott and his heart-warming country folk music.

The concert is a fundraiser for our many programs that touch the larger community, but it’s more than that. We chose to do this because Scott Sean White, a heartland rock style singer, songwriter, and storyteller from Texas touched us. His music and stories are affirming, and his music speaks to us as an affirming parish. We are hoping that the evening can be part of a healing process for so many people who are feeling left out and marginalized these days.

Tickets are $20 for general audience, $10 for high school and college students, 12 and under are free. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
