DESCRIPTION:Commended for his “masterful artistry” (The Diapason) and “stunning virtuosity and musicality” (Choir and Organ)\, David Baskeyfield has earned a reputation as a captivating performer\, whose effortless technical facility is tempered by intelligent and mature interpretation\, and informed above all by intuitive and communicative musicianship. His repertoire is wide and eclectic\, at home with the music of the Old Masters of the 17th-century and the great 19th-century virtuosos. He is also one of relatively few organists in North America to improvise regularly in recital. Mr. Baskeyfield is currently Organist and Choirmaster at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church\, Greenville\, NC.

DESCRIPTION:Happening is a Christian experience presented by teenagers\, for teenagers with the help of clergy and lay adult leadership. The Happening program is meant to be one of the instruments within the Anglican Tradition of renewing the Christian church in the power of the Holy Spirit\, so that the church may more readily respond to its call to spread the Kingdom of God throughout the world. It seeks to achieve this purpose by bringing young persons and adults to fuller personal knowledge of and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and to a deeper level of commitment and apostleship. \nHappening 84 is scheduled for March 6-8\, 2026 at Trinity Center. SUMMARY:Repair Café Workshop at Holy Cross\, Wilmington
DESCRIPTION:WILMINGTON\, NC – Repair Café NC is pleased to announce its first event in Wilmington. It will take place on Saturday\, March 21 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at Holy Cross Episcopal Church\, 5820 Myrtle Grove Road. The event is a free workshop for people to bring in their broken household items and learn how to fix them with guidance from experienced coaches. Basic tools and materials will be supplied. Items to bring include lamps\, toys\, simple electronics\, small appliances\, and small pieces of furniture in addition to clothes and jewelry. \nThe concept of Repair Café began in Holland in 2007 by Martine Postma as a way to promote sustainability. Today\, events are held all over the world and have become meeting places for community members interested in learning repair skills and to re-using items that may have otherwise been thrown away. \nWhile walk-ins are welcomed\, it is advised that people register in advance. \nVolunteers are also welcomed to learn and assist with the repair process.
