St. James is partnering again this year with Rise Against Hunger to combat food shortages around the globe. In particular\, the war in Ukraine has impacted food shortages worldwide. Rise Against Hunger allows us to serve folks in 76 different countries who are experiencing hunger and food insecurity. Who: You! Join St. James and others from the Wilmington area in this meaningful service project. Child care is provided for very young children\, and older children are welcome to participate alongside you. What: Over the course of two shifts\, we will prepare packages of food which Rise Against Hunger will then distribute near and far. We will provide all of the supplies needed. Volunteers will need to sit or stand in one location for an hour and be able to lift up to ten pounds. When: Saturday\, 24 September 2022.
