DESCRIPTION:A prayer vigil will be held in the sanctuary of Church of the Good Shepherd\, Wilmington against racially motivated and gun violence on Thursday\, July 21st at 6:30 p.m. Contact Tara Bartal with any questions: (910) 763-6080.  What is the purpose of a prayer vigil?  A prayer vigil is a period of time dedicated to prayer over a specific cause or mission. Prayer vigils can last an hour to several days or even several months. The first known prayer vigil is written in the Bible in the book of Acts.
