127th Diocesan Convention of the Diocese of East Carolina
Our Convention will be held at the Convention Center in New Bern on February 4-6, 2010, with the opening Eucharist at historic Christ Church on Thursday. The Anti-Racism Commission has invited Ms. Katrina Browne to be a guest of Convention and you will have the opportunity to see “Traces of the Trade” on Friday. On Friday evening, we will have a Service of Reconciliation at Christ Church.
The Millennium Development Goals Committee asks that each attendee participate in the "Soles 4 Souls" program during convention. Once you register for convention you will be emailed specific information on this.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE- For a tentative schedule of convention click here. This schedule is subject to change and does not include all agenda items. A final schedule will be in your convention packets when you arrive.
REGISTRATION- Convention Registration is now closed. However, you may register at the Registration desk at the Convention.
Additional nominations for all offices may be made after the publication deadline and from the floor of Convention. However, those nominated after December 31 will not benefit from the publication of their qualifications. YOUTH REPRESENTATIVE INFORMATION- Each Parish is allowed to have one Youth Representative to represent their parish. Youth Representatives have seat and voice only during Convention. This is a wonderful opportunity for our youth to learn more about the Body of Convention and the work that it does. To learn more and download forms, click here.
