Submission Guidelines
Your submission must include;
- Your Name
- Your address, phone number, and email address
- Submitted articles must be complete and include a title
- Pictures to accompany the article are welcome, but each picture must come with a description explaining what is being displayed. If the subject of the picture is a person, there must be signed permission from the subject to use his or her image.
- Articles must comply with the Diocesan House Style Guide.
- Articles should be submitted electronically at newsletter@diocese-eastcarolina.org.
- Articles submitted by mail will not be returned to the owner. Articles must be sent:

Authors whose articles are accepted for the magazine will receive a copy of the magazine by mail.
Articles for "The Cross Current Magazine" should be thought provoking and insightful. They should not simply recall an event. Instead, look for a new spin on an event. If it is an event held to benefit something or someone, then look at how it benefits that group or person instead of looking at what took place. The magazine will look for articles that provoke emotion, feelings and thoughts.
Submitting Photos
Please send all high resolution photos to newsletter@diocese-eastcarolina.org.
Photos must be at least 300 dpi.
Please save photos with a descriptive title.
All photos must also have the name of the photographer, description of the photo, names of any people in the photo, proof of photo release (if applicable), and any extra information concerning where to credit the photo.
